The Street Hemi was introduced in 1966 and the Dodge Coronet was the perfect showcase for it. It was rated at the same 425 bhp as the Race version but was more suitable for every day driving. These were true performance machines and sleepers. Dodge offered fifteen exterior color choices all in acrylic enamel finish. Bucket seats were standard but the choice of vinyl or vinyl-and-fabric upholstery was left up to the buyer.
