1973 Dart

In 1973 a Dart Sport 2-door coupe and the Sport 340 were introduced. The Sport series replaced the former Demon and Demon 340 models and incorporated features to appeal to the more active age 20-30 group. The Sport was a car with a fold down rear seat package including a fold down trunk panel a feature that makes the car extremely versatile with about 6.5 feet of carpeted storage room through the trunk up to the back of the front seats. This provided space to carry surfboards or skis or room enough for children to nap on trips or two adults to sleep on an overnight camping trip.
