American Gasser Inc. has reproduced a period correct 1940/1941 Willys Gasser. These Gassers are becoming very popular on the nostalgic drag racing circuit. Additionally, American Gasser Inc. has become the preferred builder for the National Geezer Gasser organization

For those that do not know, a Gasser is a modified 2-Door Coupe designed with a 'straight-axle' front suspension that creates a unique vehicle stance. This intimidating stance served a functional purpose of providing rear weight transfer at the beginning of drag races. The Gassers became fan favorites as big name racers often ran grudge matches for crowd entertainment. Gassers and Fuel Altered cars were the top drag racing classes before Top Fuel Dragsters, Funny Cars, and Pro Stock became dominant. The "Gasser War' years are defined as 1955-1968 when they ruled drag strips across the country.
